How to Apply Cream Blush

Cream blush is one of the best forms of blush that you can use. You can create a sheer wash of color on your face that will stay for hours. There is also the ability to build up the color to a much more intense look. Many women do not use this fabulous makeup product because they do not know how to apply it. After years of applying the powder form, it can be difficult to figure out how to apply the cream form. The good news is that it is easy to learn the application technique for this beauty product.
 
There are three basic options as to how to apply cream blush. You can experiment to see which technique suits you the best. When it comes to makeup tips, the best ones are those that you can customize to fit your particular needs.
 
Option One: Your Hands
 
Step One
 
Place two fingers into the compact to retrieve some of the product for application. The key to remember when you apply cream blush is to start out with a little bit of product. You can always add more as you go.
 
Step Two
 
Gently tap the two fingers on the apply of the cheek and along the cheek bone. Do this on any place that you would like to apply cream blush.
 
Step Three
 
Continue using the tapping to blend the color to the desired look.
 
Option Two: Makeup Sponge

It is best to start out with a clean sponge. You will want to use the same type that you would use to apply foundation makeup.
 
Step Two
 
Dip the sponge into the container of cream blush to get the amount of product on it that you will need.
 
Step Three
 
Tap the sponge lightly any where that you would like the blush color on your face. The apples of the cheeks and along the cheek bones are the usual places that it is applied.
 
Step Four
 
Repeat steps 2 to 3 until the desired color is achieved.
 
Option Three: Foundation Brush
 
Step One
 
Run the foundation brush across the compact to retrieve the color for your face. This method is the most similar to applying powder blush.
 
Step Two
 
Gently brush the cream blush along your face. Think about this process like painting a picture. You will want to blend out the edges of the color that you are applying for the most natural look.
